Seeratus Sabah

I am currently serving as a Lecturer A in the Department of Management at the School of Business, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). My academic works are focussed on in the areas of supply chain management, strategic management, Comparative Management and International Management. I teach fundamental business courses. Currently classes cover Principles of Management, Product and Operations Management, Business Mathematics and Corporate Social Responsibility. My current research interest is leveraging technology such as data analytics, computational modeling, and artificial intelligence (AI) to automate decision-making processes, optimize operations and build robust supply chain across diverse industries.

In addition to my academic responsibilities, I serve as the Department Coordinator, where I am responsible for preparing the departmental budget, coordinating courses and resource allocation among faculty members, and overseeing the planning and execution of internal academic and administrative events.

I hold an MBA in Strategic and International Management and a BBA in Management, both from the University of Dhaka. During my MBA, I was recognized with the Dean’s Merit Award for achieving a perfect CGPA of 4.00 in the second semester, as well as the Dean’s Honor Award for maintaining a cumulative CGPA of 3.92. These honors were awarded by the Faculty of Business Studies in recognition of my academic excellence.
